Erick “Chuco” Chavez, originally hailing from the street of the lower valley of El Paso, TX, and now proudly bringing a touch of Southwest charm to the bustling city of Houston, TX and its surrounding areas. Chuco’s journey into the world of art began with a deep-seated passion for illustration and design, which led him to earn his associate degree from the Art Institute of Dallas in ’96. Later, he furthered his education with a BA in graphic design from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2012. Yet, it was the allure of tattooing that truly spoke to his soul. With 8 years of experience as a tattoo artist and a solid 28-year foundation as a graphic designer, Chuco blends his skills to create unique, timeless expressions of individuality for his clients. Chuco’s style? A captivating fusion of illustration and neo-traditional artistry, each piece handcrafted to resonate with its wearer’s story.
